Crazy Craig, waz up, yeah the A4 Skyhawks will be a nice addition to my hangar deck too! Cheesy So thanks ahead of time Prowler!! 8)

Well I installed those water textures, and I geuss I got three different ver. of them.
Bill came out with some revised ones after some folks feedback on them.
Im still making up my mind on which ones I like best, but I think Im leaning towards the later ones he did as the first ones have a somewhat undesireable effect when up close, like when ya land on water in a float plane.
But dang sure look good from the air though.
But there is a, well,........a rotational cyclic thing they do which im not sure if I like or not, like I said Im gonna have to fly with them all to see which I like best.

The first ones:
...

The ones for calm winds
...

And for windy

I think the first one takes the cake. The others look too calm. Now if the creater could implement changes in the water textures do to the weather conditions. Then that would be hot.

It can't be choppy all the time and it can't be calm all the time. It is just not real. But the first one looks great from air indeed!

Yep, ditto. Well I've settled on the windy textures that Bill made later, those first ones though they give such a great look, but the pulsating effect drives me nuts, and I like to land on water alot and it looks very unrealistic when right on the water.
You know what we seem to really need is a combination of all three, and have the sim use whatever is appropriate..............maybe in FS2006 we'll see water done right eh? Wink

Well here's a few more, but im wondering if they will fit in the thread, I may have reached the limit, well here goes;

I am still waiting for ABACUS to ship my upgrade disk! You are now officially killing me with the insane beautiful screen shots at all angles!

Oh BTW I see you turned down the first water effects because of the motion of the ocean. Is someone getting a little sea sick  Roll Eyes! I like it specifically for that. It gives the ocean some life!

FD3 is nice, but it's too modern for my tastes.

man why does everyone enjoy old stuff! I love jets and modern things! Guess it's my generation. I grew up with the F14 Tomcat so I guess It doesn't matter what they come out with in the future, I will always have a soft spot for the cat.

I guess that is why older Simmers have that love for old war props. It is the plane of thier time! Well no gripe here! But we are all SimV so we have hundred of choices on what to use to bust a Tower!

Hey saber, you still haven;t told me weather I guess right or wrong on that pic being the cockpit of a stealth boat out of the James Bond movie. That is what it kinda looks like.
