I am looking for someone who has the time to make a custom panel for the Mercedes model that I have.
I am making the 1998 Mercedes-Benz SL600 for FS2002 and FS2004.
For those of you who don't know, Project Mercedes is the Gmax construction of the car mentioned above.
What has been already done?
1. Exterior and Interior visual models.
2. Exterior and Interior textures with Alpha Channels [reflections].
3. Full animations include opening doors, rotating front wheels and much more.
4. Carefully made *.Air file.
What NEEDS to be done?
1. Fixing the sound.cfg file
2. Requires a 2D panel with custom guages
This project is almost complete. It is now expected that this full package could be released before December 17, 2003.
I thank Silent Explorer for providing the needed sound files that have been 90% successfully programed to the Mercedes. I also thank him for providing the images that I needed for making the interior textures.

Here is a pic of the updated interior or DVC.
I have now added the rear view mirror and visors to the interior. The steering wheels has also been fixed.
I appreciate any help and comments.

No one has figured out a way to make working mirrors in FS yet, as far as I know. The closest I have gotten is making the texture color about 100,100,100 or a little brighter, and the alpha completely black (reflective). This makes the object sort of dark, but shows the details of the reflections better than anything lighter.

I'll make it (I am Saratoga if you don't trust a new name on the site). Tell me what it looks like and a picture if you can get it and I can do it in a day. ('tis holidays now so I can devote to it
)
