FS 2002.

Here is a pic of me and my mate Bob, wondering how on earth we are going to get this space shuttle from here, Edwards Airforce Base, in California, thousands of miles by road to Cape Canaveral off the coast of Florida, for another trip to the Space Station.... Shocked...!

(The space shuttle is glued to the side of a  Saturn V rocket and blasted off from Florida, but always lands at Edwards AFB in Califirnia 'cos of its long runway...)

So...
How is it transported from one location to the other?

...

...any idea... Roll Eyes...!
LOL...!

Paul.

Fozzer my old bean. Have you never seen this? Where have you been hiding all these years? Roll Eyes

...

I think there's an FS version complete with Space Shuttle somewhere.

Errr. On second thoughts maybe you'd better stick with your little 172. Tongue Wink

PS. I have no idea how you & your mate Bob will hoist it up on the back of that thing. That's for you to figure out. I'm sure a man of your capabilities will think of something. Shocked

PPS. That shuttle of yours looks a tad forlorn & sorry for itself. Maybe it needs a drink. Toodlepip. Grin

Hi Doug...!
Thanks mate, and there was me worrying about all that traffic on the roads, and all those dangerous red-necks in Texas on the way there... Embarrassed...!
LOL...!
By the way...
Me and my mate Bill, having gone to all the trouble of hoisting the Shuttle onto the back of that "'747?", I think I would forget the idea of sticking it on the side of a Saturn V rocket at Florida, and just light the blue touch-paper on the Shuttle whilst on top of the 747.....
...saves all that messing about malarky at Cape Canaveral... Wink...!
LOL...!

Paul.

...by the way...the pic of the Shuttle is a default object at Edwards Airforce Base...It was the best design that Uncle Bill could come up with at the time... Roll Eyes...!
...(Sorry)... Cry...!
LOL...!

You talking about hoisting that shuttle onto the top of a 172? Might as well carry it on your own backs! Wink Grin Grin Grin

Thats where it lands when the weather in Florida is too bad for it to land there, theres a runway near by the launch pad long enough for the shuttle
