Good one Tempest. Did you ever fix CFS2? Being a designer, rather than hotshot combat pilot, it suits me a lot better.

Tempest's shots are a perfect demonstration of one of the things I never liked about CFS3. That blinkin' awful fisheye lens effect you get in Spot views. Roll Eyes

Nah, no thanks. I'll stick with CFS2 & FS2002/4. The M$ sims I know & love despite all their funny little quirks. Tongue Wink

Sadly I'm still CFS2-less. I can get it to run by resetting the defaults, changing plane and then resetting the sliders, but I still get that KERNELL32DLL error when I hit certain keys. Cry
CFS3 looks great, but I know what you mean about that Fish Eye lense.

Let me know when you finally decide, I want to buy either CFS2 or CFS3, your imput might help me make up my mind. Right now money is tight, but soon, I hope soon.  I miss the sound of the guns.

Fido pal, I can tell you this much. CFS2 is my all time top sim, the ammount of addons alone make it worth buying. I've not spent enough time yet with CFS3 to form a true opinion, but I will let you know when I've given it a good workout Wink

Thanks again for the comments chaps Smiley

Just a thought Tempest. Are you using the CFS3 No-CD patch? On first installing CFS3 I found it conflicted with CFS2. This caused CFS3 to lock up solid & made it impossible to use. Exactly the same thing happened when I first installed FS2004. In both cases the No-CD patch fixed the problem. Now all my M$ sims run quite happily alongside each other, as they should have done in the first place. The CDs are all stored safely on the shelf where they belong. Wink
