Thanks to Fido & Stratobat in the CFS2 forum I've been having some fun with a few warbirds. These are all FS2002/4 aircraft by a talented designer named JR Lucariny. I hex edited them to work in CFS2 & used these versions in FS9. I also spent some time getting the best out of my old Voodoo5 graphics card. This is the result. I'm pleased anyway.
First FS9. (Small image size to get them all in.)
In their element in CFS2.

Great work Hagar, I don't think I need to tell you which are my favourites
Ozzy
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Hagar I once told you you were a
mean, mean man
, that goes double now.
Now I wish I had learned to progan.
Like Ozzy, I am drawn to the Spits, but, yes there is aways a butt; and mine is just fine thank you; that is a wonderful AT6, and a sweet Jug. Could you get the author's permission and post your mods here, I am sure there are alot of people who use FS9 who would love to fly them.
Oh my lawd! Oh Hairy. Lumme!

Fido old chum. All these are posted on the SimV FS2004 Vintage pages all ready to go. You might need to reformat the textures as I showed you. It was your shots of the Spitfire Mk II that set me off on a hunt. I modified them to work in CFS2 using the tute posted in on the SimV main Help page. You don't need to be a programmer for any of this stuff.
PS. Nothin' ol' Hagar likes more than tweaking'. 8)

Hagar:
Debbie needs the phone right now, so I will look for these sweet Birds of Pray alittle later. You know what they say 'bout "tweakin" it can make you go blind.
Maybe I'm thinking of something else.
