has been down for maintenance now for at least two months. Does anybody know whether they are still alive ?

I've been checking it out almost daily - no problems. It's slow, but remember it's got a download limit.

Thank you Felix. Perhaps I am getting the wrong page, but when I try to do a download, a page comes up saying : "Sorry we are down for maintenance"

Since it's run from a slow connection, I generally download from the "alternate" URL given (not that I read Russian, but after a while you know where the links are)
What you may run into is that if you click on one of the links and cancel the d o w n l o a d (spacing intended to convey the slowness of the download) and then either re-click, or try another, you can get the "site down for maintenance" since it believes you're trying too many times.
It's like the "makemdl not found" error in gmax. usually the error is something else.
