Just thought I'd show you my charter flight to Barbados (in FS2002), in David Maltby's terrific upgraded Vickers VC10, which just has to be have been one of the best-looking planes in the sky.

Climbing out of London Gatwick...

Through the clouds...

Westward past the Isle of Wight...

Thanks, Canadian! The VC10 is so pretty, that it's difficult to take a bad pic of it.

I've got some new meshes and scenery for the Caribbean, so I can't wait to get to Barbados!

Nice shots! Yes, it's difficult to make the VC-10 look bad. I am fond of the aircraft. I flew with my family (I was a toddler) on the BOAC VC-10 waaaaay back in the early '60s. Wink

Cool pics, but not the clearest of paintjobs is it? Great anyway! Grin

PS. I like a good, clear paintjob Wink

The pictures don't do it justice - you need to get it, fly it and drool over it from spot plane view to appreciate the paint job!

Try this one, well out into the Atlantic.

Yep, that's right, Ivan. This uses the upgraded version of the plane model, with improved flight dynamics (FS2k2 or FS2k4 versions) and a new photoreal panel. I got them all as separates from David Maltby's site, but you can download it all as a package (BIG download!) at Avsim.

The Maltby site also has the Rolls Royce Conway sounds for the VC10, which are very impressive.

Go on, download it; you know you want to ...
