Are there any airlines in the US that use the A330/A340? I am not that familiar with Airbus and it seems like Airbus is used mainly by European and Asian Airlines (with the exception of A300 and A320).

USAir is an Airbus user - flies the A330-300, plus some of the smaller models.

Yep - done the Gatwick/Philadelphia run in a USAir A330 many times.

Wish they'd change the movies more often!
