While I'm a big 737 fan, I've had a hard time to like the 100/200 series aircrafts. Just take their engines for example. The PW JT8D's might be a reliable workhorse, but could also be a dreaded engine during finals. Why you ask? Well, you can expect an 8 seconds(!) spool up time from idle to full thrust. Imagine this when the need for full power during  a low height approach is urgent, ouch  Wink

I always configure my 732's aircraft files (and my cougar throttle) to simulate the charactaristic spool up time, but boy do you need to plan ahead sometimes, especially during severe gusts  Smiley
