Now that I have a computer that can run 2002 im back to normal.  I decided to start off with a nice long haul in a 747-400.

Pushback from the gate right on time.  8:30 am.
...
Taxiing to the active.
...
Rotate.
...
Good bye Kuala Lumpur hellow Honolulu.
...
At cruising altitude about 5750 miles from Honolulu.
...
On final.
...
Touchdown, 4:30 am.
...

I miss having my graphics card.  But my friend that loned this computer told me not to do anything that involves taking off the cover.  So I'm stuck to poor quality pics for now.  Hopefully I can get a "real" computer soon.

Well SE I was thinking the same thing Tongue.  I was running 98 just the other day.  There is a huge diference.  I guess the main thing that keeps them apart is that 98's senery looks like a bunch of boxes.  You cant even tell were water and land meet in a few areas Cry.

Im going to look for a new computer this weekend.  it may be a week or so untill i can aford it but at least i can get an idea on the price.

Cool shots anyway, Triple! Nice to see you in the air again. Is it me, or was that yoke stuck in the 'full up' position on the climb-out?

I see so many people posting here and apologising the same time for the quality of the shots. That is rediculous, imo. It is not the quality, but the inspiration that counts. If it wasn't, why would people keep on posting here?

I wonder what we'll be saying about FS9 in a few years...

well it wasnt a very steep climb, or at least after a couple thousand feet or so Grin Roll Eyes.  it was just the angle of the shot.  I did take it full throtle and steep at first but it was just to heavy to keep it going so i had to lower the nose a little.

As for the computer i managed to find a good one for around $300 but they will take my old tower as a trade-in so i can get the new tower for just under $150.   then i can add my graphics card and all after i get it home.  But i have to wait another 2 weeks till i can get the money.  so hopefully soon i will have an up to date system.
