well concorde has now taken off for the very last time from heathrow, still not sure of its route as they wont release it, but its a pain because theres a storm overhead and if it comes to bristol first i wont be able to get pictures, should know in about 15 20 minutes.
Anyone at heathrow or filton today?

Why the secrecy? I'm sure plenty would like to see the old girl one last time.

they have given out places where to see it. Clevedon weston supermare and a few other coastal towns
The Downs in bristol, Clifton suspension bridge, Bristol airport, then filton however they refuse to release which order and which route it will take to those destinations, i am guessing to avoid anyone trying to bring her down. however they are using Runway 27 at bristol and filton so that should mean she will have to approach over my house and most of bristol will get to see her on departure as she will have to do a hard right past filton then back in for approach

YES haha i got to see her, she ended up being a few miles away but you could still see her clearly and hear her even clearer, i got a few pictures but i had to rush as i thought i missed her then suddenly heard the engines, so grabbed my manual camera so you will have to wait for them to be developed  and they wont be great but hey i missed the tv fly past fo the bridge to get them so better than nothing:)
ooooh my day has been made just sad i couldnt be there to see it in person darn public transport and weather
no complaints from me:)

Yep, I saw her. We went up to Bristol airport. It turned from western Super-mare and flew directly over us (would have been better had it been a few hundred feet to the side!!  Roll Eyes).  It was a great site - Ive seen it fly for my first and last time!
The rain just held off and there was a patch of blue just above us so we were able to see her really clearly. The little road around the airport was packed but we managed to find a parking place.
Had I known Concorde was flying over a few days ago I wouldn't have come up to have a look at the airport on monday! Oh well, I managed to get the film finnished of so when the pictures are developed I can start again with the scenery!
