After learning that Props do not require reverse thrusters when landing. I learned the hard way that doing this causes the props to shut off in mid flight and causes the plane to drop like a brick and applying the brakes doesn't help either.

So on this successfull landing in St.Thomas USVI, I learned all I needed to do was put the flaps down kill the throttle apply the airbrakes then gradually apply the main brakes to come to a stop!

Take a look at this pic. I happened to notice two aircrafts coming in for a landing. Then I noticed that it was actually 3 planes ! Two planes were over lapping one another and i think ATC caught wind of this and ordered one of them to back off and go around!
