Since the weather has been so nice here in Hilo, Hawaii, I have been kicking around the airport. Took some shots yesterday that I wanted to share with you.
As I got out of my car early this morning, I heard some engines spooling up. What a sight, I was just in time! A Hawaiian Air DC-10 getting ready to depart!
I hoped the fence as she started to roll towards the runway.
As the huge tri-jet rolled to her destination.......
I ran out in front for this shot. I hope airport security didn't mind!
I ran all the way to the end of the runway just in time to see this bird go Up and away!!
Later that day, I was able to get up in the tower and catch some photos of the late afternoon arrivals. I have allot of shots but the tower said I can only share a few at a time!
Hope you like Hilo and to see some shots from yesterday, click here:

I'm not partial to big jets, but if I like any, it's tri-jets! Nice reflective textures, Fly...
