Even though the flight dynamics aren't 'perfect' the visual model is very nice imo

If you want more accurate (in terms of the staock fighter config for a P-51D) flight dynamics go to www.avhistory.org or www.mudpond.us and download the 1% flight model workbook --> OR one of the 1% P-51D's for CFS2 etc. The "default" data is for a P-51D-25 and all you have to do is correct the contact points and the weight & balance configurations to suit the Reno package.
If you are not sure what i'm on about, PM me heer & i'll email it to you.

I've been threatening to learn how to make planes for a while now and when I do, the first one is going to be a Mustang.  Hopefully one that blows everythign that came before away... Roll Eyes (yeah, right)

There are some people who don't like the Reno Package because the Flight dynamics aren't perfect. This is a perfect solution to an excellent aircraft model 8)

P.s. Avhistory was one of my favorite warbird sites Wink

What do you mean WAS?  ???

and BTW, how many of these people who are complaining have ever gone out and flown a Mustang?  99% of the poeple who visit this site never have and have no idea what it feels like to fly a Mustang, so where do they get off complaining?

I said was because I've upgraded to FS2004, and now not all of my favorite Avhistory aircrafts are compatible Wink

And second, ask Ozzy & Rollerball why they don't like the Reno package Wink

My thoughts exactly. This applies even more to the rarer types.

I have to take issue with you here Tempest. I understand the characteristic "Mustang moan" is caused by the airflow through the radiator air scoop. You can always tell when the rear exit flap is adjusted correctly at full chat.

.

I would not dare argue with you Hagar pal. Wink I'm only going on what some guy at Duxford once told me whilst watching a Mustang performing.
