Fiction, big time, the flight dynamics would be horrible. To fly properly, if at all, the tail would need to be extended to correct the CG, and the wingspan would probably need to be increase to create enough lift. All in all it would fly like a brick tied to an anchor if the air files of an original Spitfire weren't used.  It was done as a joke.
