As far as I know, its not something you can just "add" with regular FS hookups. You need some other program, although I have no idea what it is called or where you would get it. Try searching on this site and others using keynames like "ground crew" or such.

Ian. I think you would need to install some scenery with "people". There are some examples posted on this site. Browse through the FS2002 Scenery section. Either that or learn to create some yourself. This type of scenery tends to be very graphics intensive. The ground crew would only be static & most likely 2D objects.

The ISD scenery of LIPO for FS2004 has ground crew. It could work in FS2002 as well I think. The figures are 2D indeed. No word on how to put them in other scenery of course but at least you can have an airfield with crew.
Find it here

Beautiful scenery and much to my surprise not hard on frame rates at all. That's quality methinks.
Cheers

I was browsing the macros section of the downloads earlier, and I came upon a couple of sets of macros for FS2000 that have a lot of people in them. I think they're for Airport, so if you are REALLY desperate, you could get Airport for Windows, download the macros and then add them to whatever airfields you feel like.

I don't know about adding them but I'm sure with the way FS can control AI aircraft it would eventually be possible to have a seperate aspect of the prgram modelling ground movements with people and vehicles. However I wouldn't expect it to help much with frame rates!
