Sorry to post here without a picture but, you are my target audience.  I have only posted here a few times because I only have Windows paint program to work with, my question is, are you using Photo Shop or Photo Shop Elements, or something else altogether, I could not afford Photo Shop, but would still like to post better screen shots than I can now. Need you help.

Hi Fido.

I shall most likely get shouted down but I paste (or load) all my own shots into IrfanView & use it to resize/crop the image before saving as in .jpg (JPEG) format. There's a link to IrfanView from the Upload Images link at the top of this page.

for picture editing i believe that most people are using adobe photoshop

for general photo resizing/etc. irfanview is the way to go
