Quote:Hagar I know Flight Unlimited II works fine with XP

Ozzy. FU II was a much later civil sim by the same company, athough both have features still not included with FS. FU II was released in 1997 for Windows & uses the same excellent flight model as the original FU 95 but there the similarity ends. Apart from a P-51D (& a Fokker Dr 1 released as a patch) the included aircraft are non-aerobatic GA types.
Unfortunately, despite the name, Flight Unlimited II was restricted to a small area around San Francisco. It had no open architecture structure like the M$ sims so the choice of aircraft & location was limted to the defaults. The final FU III was based around Seattle. SF could be added providing you already had FU II & I believe it included some sort of scenery design application. This was a very advanced sim & well ahead of its time. I think it's a shame it failed.
