My friend has the joystick mentioned above.  After instal and setup it appeared to be working fine.

After flying around a bit, switching the autopilot on, I realised that when the joystick does not recieve any inputs (throttle movement, stick or twist) it disconnect from the sensor.  To reconnect you simply press a button on the stick but the problem is, when the jiysticj stops communicating it puts the throttle goes to full power and the trim settings go all crazy.  After reconnecting, then switching autopilot off, the aircarft pulls 9g until you can get the trims back to normal.

I contacted tech support who new nothing of the problem but said the latest driver will fix it...but it didn`t.  This joztick got a great review in PC pilot a year or so back so someone must have it - know of the problem - or knows how to fix it.

Thanks for any help.

???

Bad move I would have thought

I even have annoying problems with my cordless mouse with FS (keyboard so far not a problem). Cursor does weird things sometimes. When I load 2004, the cursor disappears if it goes over a picture (eg when selecting aircraft) in the intro screens.

I can just about live with my probs but I'll bet you won't solve yours. I'd say stop beating your head - the mfrs obviously lied about the driver to get rid of you - get onto E-Bay and get a good USB force feedback stick at thre right price. There are always loads on offer.
