I wouldn't worry too much. I have several spiders like that in my home which I regard as pets. They help keep the nastier bug population down. I'm not sure on the exact figure but beileve there are well over 100 different types of spider native to the UK. These are all quite harmless to humans - although some might be capable of giving a nasty bite. Shocked  Grin

If it wasn't for spiders then we would be knee deep in flies. So be thankful...spiders are our friends.

You can have all the "friends" in your house then mate, I'll stock up on flyspray Wink.

Useless fact:  It is believed that we swallow 2-3 spiders a year in our sleep.  Think on it LOL

I'm sure I've swallowed much worse than that in my lifetime.

I would like to join this "Save the Spiders" committee. They are much maligned creatures. Be like me & adopt a spider today. They make good undemanding pets. You won't regret it. Wink

yeah. better having two or three spiders in the house than polluting the atmosphere with that anti-fly stuff. Roll Eyes

I'm an arachnaphobe  Sad. I wish I wasn't but I can't control it. The little ones scare me the most! (very odd eh?) I have a dent in my wall from hitting one with a hammer.
