I think I might get a new card again but wondering what other people think.

Anyone have this combo or anything close at all

Ati Radeon 9500 pro(hope I can find one)
Atholon Xp 1800+ or about 1.53 GHz equivelent
512 of pc 133 ram (Yep still sd, I wanna go DDr but don't want to freak my dad out with all the money Im spending upgrading)

or anything even remotly close

Could you tell me how far you can put your sliders on CFS3 and average FPS.
Average FPS of FS9 or if maxed out or close
or even a good place to find a 9500pro for cheap (less it is the less I have to wait to get it)

any help at all would be appreciated

randombeaner,

You probably should look at all the threads on ATI cards and drivers and such before you jump into ANY ATI card.  There are soem VERY varied experiences with them.

best,

I was planning on using the Omega drivers, according to them, they could make a 9500 work like a 9800 looks like it really works form asking around Grin

the 9500 is a very under rated card it has a lot of power... beats the 9600 and even 9800 in some circumstances...good choice Cheesy
