try switching the resolution back and forth, or try finding newer drivers for your video card. if everything fails, reinstall fs2002. hope this helps

so your windows are not transparent? if thats the problem it's probally installed wrong...do you have direct X8.1 or higher? if your looking through your 2d cockpit it's probally your computer, but if your looking through your 3d cockpit it's your game..

Give me more detailed info and i might be able to help,
From-  Travis

thanks guys, I've got direct x 9 intalled (think its the newest one), doesn't matter what view I go into all I see is black. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but its still the same and my card drivers are up to date. had the same problem with cfs but all I had to do was change a number in the cfs.cfg file. think it was panel_mask=0 or something along those lines.. any more ideas

i still think it's the video card... (maybe it's just me, i always have problems with mine. it's a kyro 64mb) play around with the hardware display settings, try different combinations.  is the screen simply black or does it have small lines runing up and down?

IF your having the same problem with cfs, 9/10 it's probally your graphics card or something else; but I dont think it's your game

I am currently sorting out which craft from FS2k work in FS2k2 and find that a few of them give the same results. Are you doing the same or are they FS2k2 stock?

you have a KYRO like me? i thought they banned that crappy card. Anyway you can get the drivers from powervr.com . But I'll give you a hint, go to the software developers page (i think it's pvrdev.com) They released a newer version for the pros.
