I uninstalled fs02 because the program started doing weird sruff ( i expect it to be all the 1000's of addons i installed) I poped in the cd, just to find out that the cd is badly scratched up. i was able to install all of the main stuff and half the scenery files, but not the fs2002.exe file. Could anybody upload this file? (it's like 150kb) Or tell me where I can download it.
Thanks guys.

I often wonder how you guys manage to damage these CDs so badly. The EXE file should be on one of the CDs. It should be possible to copy it into the FS2002 install. I'm not sure this will work as FS2002 reads the CD & extracts more files when you first run it. If all else fails ring M$ support. They should be able to send you a replacement CD.

Our copies of FS 2004 came in small, hinged plastic cases containing the CD's and the booklet... Roll Eyes...!
Did our U.S. cousins get something different...?

If the .exe file is all you need, then go and download the NoCD patch from here...  As for a new disk, if you are a REGISTERED user of FS, then MS usually has no problem sending out replacement discs, and even paying the postage.  But if you're not the registered user, then forget it and I don't blame them.  Smiley

Pippin. This is FS2002. It never needed a No-CD patch & none was released.

I also believe that M$ charge a fee for supplying replacement CDs after a certain period.

PS. I suspect that running a sim without the CD in the drive the first time after installing it is the main reason people experience problems with No-CD patches.
