Does anyone know of a real nice BF-109 for FS 2004/02?  The only ones I can seem to find are FSDS V1 and of course are no good for 2004.  I even downloaded one from Avhistory that was Gmax, but I get that unfinished blob look to it. Angry

You could try looking for the Paul Rebuffat one. I saw it recently over at sim-outhouse I think. It was made for CFS2, but flies fine in FS2k2 Wink

Try one of Mauro's Gmax CFS2 models. They work fine in FS2002. Should be OK in FS2004 too. http://digilander.libero.it/IceMauro/planes.htm

PS. I think Paul's 109s are all FSDS1.

I did download both of those, and thanks.  The Mauro plane works fine, but lacks a pilot and ascetically is less pleasing than the Paul Rebuffat version.  However, the Rebuffat plane has a problem in that the prop doesn't spin and the air file seems way sluggish.  Both are nice looking planes though! Ah. Mauro's109s have a pilot in CFS2. He is defined in the DP file. This feature is not supported in FS.

PS. This confirms my suspicion that Paul's 109s are FSDS1 models.

If that's so then they wouldn't work in FS 2004 would they?  ???

'Fraid not. FSDS1 aircraft are the ones that cause that not-compatible message.

PS. I believe some of Paul's Spitfires are the same. Unfortunately this is not stated in the file description. You have to install them to find out.
