If they haven't already, Delta will be retiring thier MD-11s soon. So I thought I'd fly this one around a bit.
Prepared to leave LA... Tower and Restaurant in background
Lined up on 25L at LAX
Up I Go!
Turning Away to head back to Salt Lake/Atlanta...
I love those new water fx!
The Business end of this MD-11
Destined for a sad retired fate...
This is the old CSI model, I am hoping (*Cough* "Oh Painters..!" *Cough*
) for a repaint of the fantastic new IFDG MD-11. I guess this is a farewell to the old model too...
Comments Welcome, hope you enjoyed them

Great shots Boeingman! Those water textures, are they the ones from Bill Lyons? I've got them but havent got around to installing them yet.

Great pics, but the paintjob leaves a lot to be desired. I'm sure someone will do one soon

Good shots you made, Boeingman!
And the watertextures ARE those of Bill Lyons, from what I can see.

Great Pics! I remember flying on a delta MD-11, and not in FS. It's too bad that they'll be outa service soon

Thanks for the compliments and replies! The paintjob does need help, but it's what I've got. I am confident there will be an I(FDG repaint soon because it is so new and there are so many great painters!
& yes, they are the bill lyons textures that have been geting some talk around here. My though on them is that they look dood from a distance, but sometimes they do really wierd things when you look straight down on them. Maybe I'll post a shot on that. They are a great imporvement over the ones from M$.
