See THG for article XGI, a new graphics card manufacturer. Top end preproduction card shows it not to perform as well as NVIDIA/ATI. Some likely due to driver. Price is right.

I read about it the othe day.
It should be rememberted that nVdia and ATI`s initial offerings left much to be desired at first.
So, if their first round of cards aren`t up to nVdi or ATI standards, give them a short while.
I understand there is a lot of money and expertise behind the new company and they intend to make waves.
Competition is always good!
Home airports are KMGJ and KSWF in Orange County, NY&&Stop by and say hello.

Maybe it'll put "the fear of god" into ATI. Instead of being second in a limited field of two...... they'll slip to third
.
Or....we might get the drivers fixed
.
best,

would be interesting to see what they churn out of their factories...and the drivers will have to be good to beat the nvidia\detonator drivers that just keep on getting better and better
