Here are some random shots taken from my favorite seat!  edit: when flying as a passenger, DUH  Wink

...

Flying over Yosemite National Park on a flight from KRNO to KSJC.  This game seriously scares me.  I flew this flight in the sim using the real flight plan and route flown by SWA on an actual flight I took from KRNO to KSJC.  I sat in this very seat with my eyes glued out the window and this is exactly what I saw.  I wish I had taken a picture so I could compare real vs sim.

LOL yes of course the BEST seat is in the cockpit, but if I'm going to compare this game to real life, I can only base it off of what I have experienced.  Grin  As a passenger, that is my favorite seat and since SWA has open seating, I always sit there.  LOL I have yet to get lucky enough to ride up front during a flight (except in a cessna).  Hopefully some day that's where my office will be located.  Wink

Actually no, the mesh is default.  The payware in these shots are the PMDG 737-700 and views courtesy of active camera.

Very impressive!  One day they may get Yosemite right and when they do, Ill fly nowhere else.  The least they could do is put Half-Dome in there.  Roll Eyes

Half Dome is there, but doesnt look much like Half Dome.  LOL  It's hard to see from that shot, but you can tell when flying around Yosemite what Microsofts idea of Half Dome looks like.

Same thing with El Capitan.  Hell, it's only the biggest rock face in the world.  Nothing there to worry about getting right... Roll Eyes

Nope...unfortunately that's what flaps set at 5 degrees looks like.   Roll Eyes  SWA only uses flaps at 5 for take-off.  Now, just for looks, I set them at 10 for take-off if i plan to take screenies.   Tongue

You should take the shots so they can see the leading edge flaps instead. The engine intake would give the shot an even sweeter look  Smiley

An old post but oh well! The 2nd shot really gives you a feel for how high the plane is. And te 3rd shot... well, that's just good.  Grin
