great mistake! American Fighters are better than the British Fighters...well, i like the Spitfire hehehe

During WW2 the P-51 proved an outstanding long-range interceptor. In the ground attack the P-51 was at a disadvantage due to it's light construction and air-cooled engine proved susceptible to ground fire. In the ground attacking roll I would prefer a Jug or a Typhoon with heavier construction and a liquid cooled engine. Leave the P-51 to fly top cover  Wink
