S-L-BOCK is how it should be pronounced. Don't ask me why, all I can tell you is that it's German 8)

it should be pronounced S-L-BACH. but i think you amerians and englishmen have some difficulties pronouncing the CH at the end....

The end is pronounced however you want to pronounce the famous musician Bach's name in your country
There, the confusion is settled
Our family has never pronounced the 'a' like in the word tap.
