Hi guys.
I just noticed this string after searching around this forum and it sort of answers a question I posted about VC editing on 12/21. It so happens that I have cfg edit but rather than studying how to use it I have been manually writing syntax and manipulating bmp files for my own panel mods but of course that limits me to only doing 2D penels with accuracy.
Now, my question here.
Can cfg edit also read where dummy gauges are in DVC's?
Here's what I want to do. In the Iron Knuckles DC-9 I have added the Delco Carousel INS. I wish to locate the cdu on the pedistal where alll the dummy tuner knobs are at, where the fmc would be on an MD-8xx. What I wish to do is place the INS bitmap there overwriting the dummy knobs that are in the location as writen by flight-1. Can cfg get my INS panel there in the DVC even though there is no functioning gauge currently in that location?

Another dumb question.
I was just working on my DC-9 panel to add the INS bmp into the VC-s pedistal and I read the recommendation to creat screen shot of the DVC to use as a template . Good idea as I currently have no idea how this INS will look when I see it in the sim, it could be weird proportions. One problem I have though.
CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE REMIND ME WHAT THE KEYSTROKES ARE TO DO A SCREEN SHOT???????
Thanks.
