Date: June 10, 1944
Location: South of the invasion area in Normandy
Our flight of B-26G aircraft was today ordered to attack some German artillary. That part of the mission ended in great success.
However, a little way away I was hit by some flak and had to emergancy land on a road.
Taxiing down the road a little however, I met a German tank column.
In the gunnery duel that followed, I managed to escape with only minor damage. The bridge was destroyed in the battle.
Hope you guys like my screenshots.

How were you able to stay on the ground so long before crashlanding?

Thanks for your comments guys. Good question Andrew. I do fly with realism at 100% so I guess the reason why was that I drove they slowly and was careful. The highest speed I ever went on the ground was 10mph.

Never thought you'd join the Infantry, eh?

Cool! I wish that if you destroyed a bridge vehicles did not go right throught it! and Vehicles also go through each other! But what makes me the most angry is the fact that flak sometimes shoots me down when I'm on the ground! (IMPOSSIBLE)
How do I fix this annoying bug?

CHOMP_ROCK, about the flak shooting you down when you are on the ground. It happened to me this morning too. I had just been hit by flak, so I emergency landed on a road. It continued to fire at me until my aircraft exploded, while on the ground. Very odd...

Putting myself in the A.A. gunners shoes, I'd have kept on blasting until you'd gone boom - Cheeky sod!

Great pics, nice tactic... 8)
The really smart a.i. would split into the woods, 500 yds up, quietly encircled the said landed enemy plane and instantaniously perforated it in a radio choeographed volley.
Alas nobody told the M$ a.i. coder.....

Nice Work!
It's fun to land and catch a convoy on the road and just blow them away as they come to you.

don't know if that'd be helpful...capturing the bomber and the crew would be a bigger help. maybe those americans got some new technologies?!? and the crew could tell us "a little bit" 'bout the defenses of the british isle...

When I first posted my screenshots, I never thought the topic would this far. I expected one or two replies at the most.
