here are some shots of the nearly complete Super Hornet i have been working on (with rick sasala).

...

...

...

...

...

5 different loads (as above +clean). Highly accurate flight dynamics.

Fully functional panel with working MFD's, custom written XML gauges & nearly everything modelled as close to the real thing as possible.

At present it will be a release for the Virtual US Navy www.vusn.org ONLY. so you'll have to join if you want to fly it! 8)

VC (not finished yet), moving burners, refuelling probe, canopy  ladder (not finished yet), flaps, the usual stuff + at full flaps (40) the rudders move inwards (just like the real thing) - can be seen in the last screenshot.

not at this stage (inital release), but perhaps at a later date!

you could always join & get to fly it in exercises!

It's unlikely that I would have the time to make the necessary commitment to such an organisation.  Added to the fact that as a British Subject it would hardly be appropriate LOL Wink

I will look forward to a possible public release at a later date.  The F/A 18 has become my favourite US aircraft at the moment.  Please post more shots as work progresses.  Cheers Laurie.

Yeah, great shots and great plane. I like the burner effects in particular, the blue, 'gassy' kind of flame. I might reconsider paying for FSUIPC to get the Arrcab to work...
