Does anyone know if it does any good to attack targets after fulfilling the goals for a mission?  I mean, if I bomb a production center and stop to pick up some ships on the way back, does it earn me anything? ???

The manual says that anything is better than nothing. Therefore, if you can't find your target, but blow up something else then it counts for something. So additional targets should also count on the same principle. Wink

I think that striking secondary targets or targets of opportunity helps... it may not move the front line a great deal but i have noticed my squadron prestige seems to builds up faster when i have the wingmen cooperate in hitting the secondaries as opposed to flying past them.
