???
Can someone point me to some tree macros for 2004? I tried those in the macros section and could not get them to display right, even with the updates. I really need pines... do they exist yet for Fs9? Thanx.

Thanks Andrew, I will try Gerrish's trees, but those are enhancements for FS Autogen scenery. I need some broken out as scenery macros for design work...

Gary you'll find the trees you're after in the downloads under http://www.simviation.com/fsdesign_scenery7.htm

Gary, I have created a complete set of deciduous trees and firs, based on Gerrish's early textures with a few improvements  Wink that are individually placeable in a scenery.

About a dozen of each type with full seasonal textures and fully scalable. They also aren't cruciform - they rotate towards the pilot which I think is a much better effect.

...

I only made em for my own use, but if they're of interest I doubt whether Gerrish would mind  Smiley if I zipped em up and uploaded them

PS

I originally did em because I couldn't understand Gerrish's library! I only needed a few macros and just can't stand 50 page how-to-do-it manuals! Life's too short.

I haven'y used many of my fir trees but you can see one or two.

Here are some Winter and Spring shots

...

Hey Rollerball!
Please, please, can I use your trees? It is only for private stuff, I am not going to publish.

If you need an upload FTP please let me know.

Thanks for the location, Ozzy. I did'nt see that one...

Gary,

I've made a zip - it's only 2.3 MB - but as the APIs use Gerrish's original textures I've quickly emailed him to make sure he's happy. I'm sure he'll be fine, then I'll upload.

Let you know soon

Thanks guys. Gerrish has pointed out that I've used his original texture names which could cause some confusion if people have already installed his library - he's dead right of course because I've made one or two changes including the bmp type! So I'm just gonna have to change those and then I'll upload.

Roger

Now uploaded to SimV and Flightsim ONLY.

Roller, you're a prince! So is Mr. Grey!

I have used some of his api's in an airport I have constructed, and, WOW!

I look forward to your version of these. Thanks so much.
