I finally got a G Froce Chaintech FX 5200 to help me fly in full screen and so on on my FS 2004.

What a dissapointment, I now get red skies and back grounds of red strips, with yellow like bolts in the sky.

I did down load the lastest Nvidia drivers to even make this card work on my desktop.

How do I fix this?

Also now some other games say the video memory is not enough, my new card is suppose to have 256 Mb memory. How to I fix this too?

My onboard shared memory card of 64 MB could at least run all my games but not FS 2004 very good.

Should I return this card and get another one?

PLease help missing my daily flights JFG 123

Does that mean 64mb of system memory? You should have at least 256mb, 512mb is better.

I've never seen a Geforce FX5200 or even a FX5600 with 256mb of memory. It's usually only the FX5900 that has that kind of memory.

I have a Jaton 3DForce FX5200 which has the same graphics chipset as yours. I've never had any problems with FS2004. Try going to www.nvidia.com and download and install the 52.16 driver set. You should also install DirectX 9.0 from Microsoft if you haven't done that yet.

Orenda 635

I did down laod the latest 51.6 driver and have 8.1 direct x.

I have an Antholon 1.3 gig with 512 Ram and 40 GB Hard drive.

The Chaintech FX 5200 says on the box it has DDR 256 MB, 128bit AGP8xm Direct X9 or less support.
On memory size it says 64/128/256 DDR with what ever 64/128 bit memory iterface means

You should have DirectX 9.0b. FS2004 is powered by DirectX 9.

Problem found to be an uncombatable mother board PCCH MB 810R that will not accept any G Force Cards.

This conclusions was reached after extensive testing and down loads drivers and so on by the computer Techs, at Cybertron International who built my computer back in 2001. I have returned the FX 5200 card and they will sent me a replacement one that works.

Thanks for your helps maybe this will help some one too. JFG 123
