Interesting article in Toms Hardware Guide: How to Speed up Your RAM - How to Tweak Your RAM in BIOS.

Search under MB/RAM for RAM.

I did not change CAS Latency nor Memory Clock.
I decreased RAS Precharge Time, RAS to CAS Delay, and Row Active Time per the tweak recommendation to MB allowable settings.
I also enabled System Accel Mode.
System runs well with new settings.

cool. Lower timings doesn't always mean better performance though. I'm no perfessional at this but if your ram isn't timed right with other components in the computer it will actually slow it down. From what I have read anyways. but if you do more tweaking and experience problems that might come in handy to know.

No problems so far.  MB and CPU temps normal. Stable system.  Not a big deal if the system would become unstable. Just boot to BIOS and change.  I noted that the MB settings were not as low as THG recommendations.  MB limits settings. RAM is CL2 so it should handle the lower clock settings.

On boot, Del several times into BIOS.
Advanced
Chip Configuration
F10 to save and boot to OS.
