Fly2e, there is a separate forum for enhanced/ edited pictures, you and some others seems to have forgotten that.

Nexus, I am well aware of the two forums!
Big deal, I did not break some major rule, they are only screenshots. The effect IS a lense flare, and I wasn't even going to share em' with anybody except I thought they were interesting. I have been posting here long enough to know the difference between the two forums!
So there you have it! Who really cares?
This is the same petty reason this graphic forum can't even agree on a screenshot contest!
Edited, freeware, payware, raw.....blah, blah, blah.......
A picture is a picture!!
As for this thread, I "play" with my pictures here and there. I did not think I would be postin' these at all here at SimV so all I did was add an effect! Geeze!!
Sorry if I sound peeved, but people around here are so quick to say if something is edited or not. ALL SHOTS I UPLOAD AND SHARE HERE ARE RAW!! So I had a pic with an effect, BIG DEAL!!
I am not going to load an entire post in the edited section that hardly gets views because one of them has a simple lense flare. I would understand if I were manipulating pictures to be what they weren't but I am not!
If anybody could tell me what forum the picture below goes, I would really appreciate it since I am having a problem! ???
By the way,

I guess that would be me!
I don't quite understand why there are separate sections for your screenshot. Just like Dave said, a picture is a picture. I, too, play with my shots to let them come out a bit better.
I'd be posting a lot more pics overhere if it wasn't for those rules.
But that is just me...

You ask why there are separate forums for screenshots? (raw, edited, payware)
I guess it's because to clean up the threads abit. Ask the mods around here, I'm sure they'll have an aswer for you.
Seems to me I hit a sensitive spot guys, but come on, if you wanna edit your pics that's fine, but put them in the proper forums, or else the different screenshot sections will become obsolete. Again, dont complain to me, go to the moderators who decided this.
And Dave as soon you open your pic in photoshop or whatever and change it; adjust the levels, sharpen the pic etc, it's an edit (resolution changes are allowed as oyu know). What's the fuzz about that? Seems rather easy to me ???
I don't want to sound grumpy, it's just my 2 cents.

I am reading this today and it sounds ugly.

I understand and respect your comment and it is true. I guess long day, wrong words, and a short fuse!
Next time, (if at all), I post an edit in a thread of non edited pics I will mention that "I added the lens flare effect on the vertical stabilizer at 58%”
You know me, I like my threads to kind of tell a story or show a sequence.
I couldn't have that 747 in the air without setting up an establishing shot of that thing spooling its engines!!!"
.....
It was the only one I had! LOL
Gotta go, remember,.........
We are all only artists who want to share our pics with the flight sim community! 8)

Man, that's a great plane. It's sometimes hard to get the feeling of 'hugeness' in screenshots, but you did great.
