sound: can it be done? (Read 218 times)

Hi there

My soundcard has two line-out connections. My speakers are connected to the first, the headset to the second. I can use both at the same time or just one of them. What I would like is for FS2002 to use the speakers, and Roger Wilco the headphone. This would make it easier to hear ATC while the engines hum.....
Would that be possible?

System specs:
XP Pro
Terratec dmx1024

Thanks
AJ

If it is possible I would imagine you would have to play with the output channels in your sound card setup(control panel).

Let us know what happens as I'm sure John Baymore will be interested in this sort of thing for his home built cock pit.

You could then have the headphones just for ATC, two speakers dedicated for the engine noises, two for background noise and a little one for the radiostack morse.......

This has possibilities, cheers AJ

Hi Will
Thanks for the reply. But.....

If it is possible

that was the question in the first place Grin.

So if you want to know if it is possible, follow this tread. I hope someone has the answer.
As for playing with the output channels....don't know what I should try. So if anyone knows....I'm standing by.

Cheers
AJ
