I Like Flight Simulation!

Flying fast is nice if you want to get from one place to another really fast but you will outfly your scenery and you can't see squat.

I don't have the X-15 but I have the new F-16. I took the governors off and it will go 800 kts (GS) at FL300. At that speed and alt the ground is just a blur.

I have heard (but never tried) that Gerry Anderson's Supercar is the fastest FS aircraft out there. But that's second-hand knowledge, so I wouldn't bet on it.

thanks for your replys.....going fast does make scenery blurry, but i my computer can take it up to around three times the speed of sound(mac 3). I tried the x-15 and it goes fast , but to me it's like a rocket without control! so i think i will try the supercar or the *new* F-16
