Any little turboprop fans out there? (Read 414 times)

I mean fans of little turboprops, not ones who are of limited stature, although they obviously are not excluded!  Wink

If so, here's something that's very nice.

...

It's a little Embraer 121 Xingu, model and textures by Marc Siméon (marc.simeon@ifrance.com) and flight dynamics by Louis Cinca (l.cinca@infonie.fr), modified by me.

...

It's a beautifully modelled little aircraft that looks and flies very well

...

It doesn't have any fancy bits like opening doors but the cockpit is incredibly detailed with a pilot by David Eckert and when I paused the sim to take these shots it was amazing to look through the window and watch the controls moving as I waggled my joystick (er.....no giggles in the back missus....)

...

I can't for the life of me remember where I got it from but the file is e121_fs2002.zip

Yep, it is Doug. I was testing it at the time and it works really great with that file I sent you so it's another one on the list. I popped in my Kingair panel and it flew really well but there apparently is a custom panel available.

It is available at no-nodes (flightsim) and avsim at the moment.

http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kdl/main/50/e121_2k2.zip?FhkNE01g

This is the link to the file, or search for text on flightsim for e121_fs2002 under All File Sections.

Hey Roger,
Is that one of those new mysterious prop planes with the invisible propellers?  Wink

I have a few of them myself!

Nice shots and OMG, who designed that scenery you are flying around, it is incredible!!! LOL  Grin

Yep, it has invisible props. Bit of a shame, but the animated cockpit from outside looks excellent. Great fun to fly. It also has brilliant sound effects.

Yeah because I spend all my time (when I'm not collecting interesting, new aircarft and flying Grin ) plopping new lumps of scenery in there, it has to be my default flight location. So whenever I try out a new plane it's nearly always from there (I know, boring Roll Eyes )

But I don't care because I love it (my wife thinks I go off into my own little world there - she's probably right Cheesy )

Dave, I hadn't noticed the props - now you've really pi**ed me off Grin

Doug, sent to your AOL address this pm. It was approx 400k so it'll take you a few mins to download. Sent same to Mark (because he became a bit confused when I sent before - must be the Bulls Blood Kiss ) and no error messages so you should both have it on your email servers.
