First let me say I HAVE read the manual a couple of times and although I learn something each time, I am disappointed that I cannot build and save Instrument Approaches in this version.
Has anyone heard or can provide an estimate when this feature will become available?
Would be nice if the AFCAD software had a link in the MENU to "check for updates".

thanks for your help,

Hi TomH,

Welcome to SimV.

AFCAD will likely evolve over some time.  Give it a chance.  After all it is freeware!  And it has only been inrelease something like two days.  This is a pretty amazing piece of coding to just give away.  Lee Swordy is a saint.

Lee is quite responsive to the desires of the community........ if there is enough demand.... and if CAN be done..... he'll likely add it.

And I am not saying that what you want CAN'T be done...... cause I have only recently downloaded it and haven't had much time to learn the new program's features.

best,

................john

Right now, Afcad can't add Navaids which will have an effect on the radio instruments. Hopefully it will in the future
