howdee partners is there a specific time to contact approach for ur approach details, ie 20 miles within airport? im flying the cessna thanks for ur help

I contact approach frequency just when I am within range. 20 miles is ok for a Cessna giving you time to follow the instructions.

the ATIS should give the runway in use. Common practice is 10-30 minutes prior to landing, depending on your altitude.
 

.....so I loaded up the plane and moved to Middle-EEEE..........OIL..that is......
