I got this out of my school's newspaper and thought I'd share it.  I wasn't sure if it should go in this forum or the jokes, since some of it is funny, but it's also so true.  I guess it depends on how you look at it.  Anyone who was hit by Isabel or any other weaker hurricanes could relate to this.

Quote:
Things Learned from the Wrath of Isabel
1.  Cold showers in the dark are actually possible.
2.  Have more food available than peanut butter and jelly.
3.  Set everything in you house on 5 inch cinder blocks.
4.  There are a lot more stars in the sky than most people thought.
5.  Life without power is hard without phones, internet, and anywhere to go.
6.  Spending so much time with your family isn't as bad as it seems.
7. If you're going to spend 8 hours in a hallway, make sure you have a pillow.
8.  Anything can happen to us, even if we deny it.
9.  People will get into a line that has already formed without having any idea what the line is for.
10.  It gets really dark at night when you don't have lights.
