Hmm...This was a tough decision as each version outdid the previous one by leaps and bounds...the main thing that helps decide ones frustrations with newer versions of FS is the always immenent need to update the computers...

I know that there have been some issues with FS2004, but none have affected the flying for me in ayway.  So, I must say that it is my favorite.

I have voted for 2k2 as I haven't tried 2k4 yet.  Perhaps the question should read "Which flight sim do you use?"

For me it was a tough decision between FS2k2 pro and FS98.  I like the graphics of FS2k2, but since I've played 98 for a couple years longer than 2k2, I chose 98.

I would imagine that putting the survey itself in the FS2004 forum would tend to "bias" the results toward fs2004.  Wonder what the result would be if you put this in the FS2002 Forum  Wink.  Or in the FS2000 one?  Or the FS98 one?

best,

hmm, when I voted, it was in the General Forums.  I guess it was moved.  I think it should be in General for that reason.  There isn't a fair representation of users of other sims to vote.  Wink

I have FS '98, FS 2000, FS 2002 Pro and FS 2004.
FS 2002 Pro and FS 2004 are both installed on my hard drives, but because of all the many add-ons/improvements that I have installed over the years to FS 2002, that is my favourite program.... Grin...!

FS 2002 was AMAZING when it first came out.
FS 2004 added very little to the program.... Roll Eyes...!
So...
Out of FS 2002 with all its add-ons, and FS 2004, FS 2002 gets my vote at the moment.... Grin...!

(FS 2004 is sulking on my second hard drive).... Wink...!

LOL...LOL...LOL...!

Cheers all... Grin...!

I also have everything back to FS 98, including all CFS versions too.  I love 2004 for the Graphics, but the missing scenery kind of puts a damper on it for me.  Still, I go with FS 2004.  The planes are just to advance.  They're just 'plane' gorgeous!  Grin

and thats bad because!!!!!!!!!!   I magine this is because they have the most advanced level of game play as they are the newest and some stick with fs2002 as they have more add ons as time goes by I am sure that more pepole will prefer fs9 as there more add ons for it.

I though prefer fs9 as it is 100* better than fs95 which was my last version!!!
