Hey there "PeteTLUK" if that is your real name Wink  I have had this spit for a while now and really love it, but have you noticee that the flaps although not a flight problen,  seem to extend down 180 degrees, not a pleasing look.  The fix was easy, and it may have been, that I got a bad download, you might want to check yours.

             Fido Grin Grin

P.S.  Nice pic,  and could anyone suggest startup and shut down sounds that could be added to this plane, it's either on or off .

Ah....

Should we draw any conclusions here

clues....

A new but old member pops up flying a vintage plane (Spitfire) and says they 'deleted their old forum name'

Ozzy (who may know about such things) bumps into an old member flying a vintage plane

The name mentioned ISN'T NOW IN THE FORUM MEMBERS' LIST!

Professor Brensec - are you unmasked? Or am I just being led up the swanny by Ozzy again - as usual  Cheesy

I know who PeteTLUK is. There is no mystery. I assume your old ID disappeared in the big forum crash. This happened to many members & gopher Pete was able to recover some.

Fido. The flaps are correct. Paul Rebuffat knows what he's doing. The Spitfire flaps have 2 positions, up & down. Down is at something like 90 degrees to up.

PS. I had a quick punt round & found this.

I know what Fido is talking about here Hagar pal. It's a CFS2 Spit and the flaps are correct in the down position in CFS2 but in 2K2/4 for some reason they continue to extend past 90 degrees and fold back flat against the wing. It looks odd but they seem to be working.
Fido, I'm crap at editing config files, please tell me the fix!

I'll check it out. Should be easy enough to tweak. I'm still a tad concerned that Paul knows nothing about his stuff being uploaded for FS2004. Well, I'm sure he does by now. Roll Eyes
