Please don't forget to set your clocks back an hour tonight (if you're a resident of Europe, I'm not sure about the US).

We do it too in North America.
I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday.

I'm just glad I'm not out with the old group tonight. This was the night we usually had to play for an extra hour for nothing*.
Maybe my internal clock will catch up now. I've been suffering from "jet-lag" since the clocks last changed. The clocks in my car & all my electronic equipment will also read the correct time again.
*PS. Come to think of it I don't remember this ever working in reverse. ???

Who all likes Daylight Savings Time???
I personally get annoyed whenever the clocks change, although I'm not sure I'm gonna enjoy a hard winter. Plus the sun is going to be setting before 5:00 now

Where do you live? ??? In America, the sun doesn't set till about 6 or 6:30, no matter what time zone you're in!
YAY!!! Its only 11:30! I can still get 8 hours of sleep!

I live in western Washington (the state...not the capital) and this time of year its not unusual for the sun to be down by 5:00 pm.
Of course the big advantage is in summer when the sun is up until 9:00 pm!

Daylight saving works well here although many people think otherwise. Every year without fail there is a heated debate on the subject. In fact the RoSPA has just started a campaign for
double summer time
the whole year round. What they don't seem to appreciate is that this was tried with BST, not so many years ago with disastrous results. It was so unpopular that the government was forced to change back to the original idea after a couple of years. None of their arguments hold water & I sometimes wonder about their motives. All I can say is that these people must have short memories.
PS. I'm a great believer in the old adage. If it ain't broke - don't fix it.

Whilst all of the clocks in my house were changed, Abi woke up at her usual time of 06.30, which was of course 05.30.......

I always thought changing the clocks is stupid and unnecessary, I live in Michigan and work in the area of Indiana where they don't recognize DST, so it can really be confusing, but I never change my alarm clock, the only clocks we change are by the TV, other than that I just stay on Indiana time.
One of the things I loved about living in Arizona was the fact that they don't mess with the daylight savings time thing either, the natives out there will tell you they don't have to steal sunlight so they don't bother changing the clocks.

I rolled back my clock, but can't roll back the time offset in my profile, it is now 2hrs off. Just before 6 this morning I got truely confused, my computer had one time, my clock had another, and the forum show yet another. DST sure can suck at times.

Fido. I'm not sure why you're having trouble. I just changed the time difference in my profile from 5 to 4 hours ahead with no problem. It now reads the correct time.

At 10am this morning my wife got out of bed. I jokingly asked her if she enjoyed her extra hour of sleep. She looked at the clock and said she was sorry she slept all the way til 10am.
At 1pm, she called me from work to tell me she just figured out what I ment. Delay time on the joke: 3 hours
