... bios? (Read 172 times)

  ???... my mate has set something in his bios to make 'the AGP Gateway 256MB ' and improved his frame rates ... been looking in mine and there appears to be no such command .... is this something that varies from one motherboard to another? my details are below and I believe I have the latest bios ..... any ideas?  ???

Hmm, I have a 128MB AGP card, if I set my AGP appeture in my Bios to 128MB - which I think logical... - its actually slower than if I set it to 64MB!!! ???
- If I set the appeture to 256MB its slightly quicker than 128 again but way slower than 64!
Confused? Yup!

I'm therefore not even going to try to second guess what your mates upto!!!
