There are some oldies shows that probably co-existed with the Beeatle mania period, are are still being aired. What oldies television show did you use to watch?

I use to watch

-Gilligan Island (Watched to the bitter end on TBS)
-Knight Rider
-CHiPs (only a little)
-Scooby Doo (I like it better when the whole gang was there, went down hill with only Scooby and Scrappy)
-Flinstones
-Jettsons

I use to watch "The Price Is Right", but it dont know how to classify it, because its been running for more than 30 years! Bob Barker has to be a robot.

-All In The Family
-Gilligans Island
-Beverley Hillbillies
-I Dream of Jeanie
-Bewitched
Just to name a few. I get Prime, which is a station that shows mostly old shows. I remember getting DejaVu and TVLAND during the free previews. Highly over rated. Seems all digital channels just show cancelled shows and B movies.

I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday. Yup, TVLAND is nothing but old episodes of even older shows, but we get it as part of the standard cable package here in Ohio... Smiley

I don't watch much of this stuff anymore, but here are some of the shows I have been into at one time or another:

Gilligans Island (My favorite, put me on an island with two horny babes that no one else wanted to mess around with and see what happens!!)
...

I dream of Jeanie (Who wouldn't want their own hot jeanie?)
...

Brady Bunch (I grew up in love with Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!)...

The Munsters (Man, did they had some cool cars or what?)
...

Charlies Angels (I don't really need to tell you why, do I?)...

I can't think of anymore right now, although most of the older shows I used to watch generally revolved around some manner of hot babe(s).

&&Still no linked images allowed around here Paz! Naughty...&&

I don't know what prompted the Beatlemania reference, as only 3 of the shows you mentioned, Ranger, aired during that period  Wink. Anyway.....................  Grin Grin Wink

I have cable and what's called "TV1" over here has all of these oldies. I watch (or have watched) pretty much everything that has been mentioned, but I prefer the 'more sophistacated humour' of say Fawlty Towers, Yes Minister and (from the US catalogue) Frasier and Becker.

I don't remember many shows from the Beatles days now. They would all have been in black & white - for me anyhow as we didn't have a colour TV much before 1970. We did have some US shows that have been mentioned here. I liked Happy Days, Mork & Mindy, M.A.S.H,The Adams Family & many others but as I recall these were much later. My favourites were the home-grown stuff like Steptoe & Son (1962), Till Death Do Us Part (1965) & the Gerry Anderson stuff (Supercar from 1961 etc). I'm sure most people here would never have seen them.
