Last night as I was continuing my futile attempts to win a campaign as an American fighter pilot, my flight failed to find it's target group of ships. What we did fly over was the Geman Invasion fleet: literally countless red triangles in a big swath off the East coast of England.

The flak was most impressive.    We got a couple of Cargo ships, strafed a few tugs, and hauled ass.

Am I wrong in assuming that the end of this campaign is near? This really sucks. I have had several missions when my group sunk all 6 target ships, and another entire group of 6 as well.  Ground targets have been obliterated en masse, leaving only black triangles in our wake, yet still the Brits invade too early and get their asses kicked.

The strategic planning in this game, at least on the Allied side, bites.
