I like this idea.  It would be nice to see some people's home built stuff!  Grin  Could we include home made yokes and pedals too?

Pippin,

YAHOO!!!!!!! It is a reality.  Thanks Pete.

Glad you like it.  Thanks.

As to homemade yokes, pedals, throttles, and whatever...... yes, I certainly don't see why not.  All that stuff is part of making the simulation far more immersive and in some cases...... exceptionally realistic.

best,

Congrats to you, JBaymore!  I am glad that a subject so interesting to you could be turned into a forum.

I myself have no reason to build a home cockpit, but I will pay attention to what goes on here.  I love the realism of FS, and building homebrews is as realistic as you can get without getting a license.

Again, congrats, and good luck!

EnderBaron,

Thanks for the good words!  But I wasn't alone in getting this concept brought to a reality..... there were lots of others getting into the act too.

I too look forward to what eventually develops here.  I'm just a neophyte in this "homebrew" bit myself.   Hopefully others here on SimV will see this stuff getting posted down here and maybe get involved a bit with such projects at even a limited level.

Or maybe what will happen is that those of us that tend to "hang out" here will eventually get relegated to our own "insane asylum" forum  Wink.
